At Clio Cup's fourth leg, Hakan Güven took the lead which is organized by Renault and Performans Organization by the sponsorship of Kent, Omsan, Elf, Axa-Oyak, CMS ve Michelin.

Hakan Güven had his second consecutive victory and gain a important point gap. During the race Selim Özgörkey and Murat Doruk stand on the podium as the 2nd and 3rd driver. High leveled competition fascinated the İzmir fans.
Another candidate for the championship, Ahmet Atay made the best time on seeding laps in İzmir at 6th October. He was out of competition during leading the race when he ran out of track and punctured his carter.

When time computer break down, seeding laps delayed to Sunday. But the broken computer couldn't be fixed Sunday also. Seeding and race times were calculated by the referees. While Ahmet Atay having the pole position, Hamdi Saraçkardeşler took 2nd, Şerif Yardımcı took 3rd and Murat Doruk took the 4th position.
Şerif Yardımcı turned the first corner on the lead. After some laps, Ahmet Atay took the race lead back. Second place racer Hakan Güven's pressure gave result and Ahmet Atay ran out of track at the end of the start field. After Atay's abandon, Hakan Güven starts to lead the race. After him, Serif Yardımcı 2nd, Murat Doruk 3rd and Selim Özgörkey 4th were the leading front group. Becouse of the spilling oil from Atay's car Şerif Yardımcı began to slow down and get down 2 positions. After this, Selim Özgörkey is the winner of the fight for 2nd place. On last laps positions didn't change and Hakan Güven 1st, Selim Özgörkey 2nd and Murat Doruk finished 3rd Clio Cup's 4th leg which ran on 20 laps.
