Clio Cup 2003 season took start this weekend at Pınarbası Circuit / İzmir. The race ran as the show of two pilots (Ahmet Atay and Selim Özgörkey) struggling for the first place. Race was stopped for 20 minutes because of the rain on the 4th lap which is organized by İzmir Automobile Club (İOK). Race took start after the stopping rain.

Ahmet Atay left the first leg with victory while Selim Özgörkey was the 2nd driver by the nose difference. Volkan Özdemir, Selim Erol, and Alkan Güven couldn't saw the finish line while Murat Doruk finished 3rd.

The next leg of Clio Cup will be held at Serres Circuit at Greece on 03-04 May which is organized by Renault and Performans Organization by the main sponsorship of STS (Sakarya Telecommunication Systems) and with the co-sponsorship's of Kent, Omsan, Elf, CMS and Michelin.
