Clio Cup continued by the second leg at Serres Circuit at Greece on 03-04 May which is organized by Renault and Performans Organization by the main sponsorship of STS (Sakarya Telecommunication Systems) and with the co-sponsorship's of Kent, Omsan, Elf, CMS and Michelin.

The new method at Clio Cup's seeding time calculation is from the new rule at Formula1. The best lap time inside 5 laps will be selected from now on. This rule change increased the competition. On Sunday morning Hakan Güven made the best time by 1.28.307. This time was nearly one second faster than the time he made last year. Erkut Kızılırmak was 2nd and Ahmet Atay was 3rd.

With the start at 13:00 the front group didn't change. By the coming laps Ahmet Atay passed last year's champ Hakan Güven and took the lead position. On the last 2nd lap Erkut Kızılırmak lost the control during the struggle with Hamdi Saraçkardeşler and hit the wall at 180 km/h. Race was stopped and Kızılırmak was left for a health control. The happy news about Erkut's good health brought happiness to the pilots.
