Renault Clio Cup's eighth leg took place by Renault and Performans Organisation and with the main sponsorship of STS(Sakarya Telecommunication Systems) and the helps of Kent Olips, Omsan, Elf, CMS and Michelin at Vallelunga Race Track in the capital city of Italy; Roma.

After a competing race at the Magione track, Vallelunga Race Track was 3.2 km's long and it was the longest track that Clio Cup drivers were going to race.
Training and seeding was made like the way that they make in Formula 1 races. Ahmet ATAY who declared his championship before the end of the season, took the first place at the seedings. Besides, Itallian pilot Gaetano TRODELLA competed with the Turkish pilots and this is the first time that a foreign pilot competed in the Turkish Clio Cup.

With the green light Selim EROL and Selim ÖZGÖRKEY lean against each other and went off the track. They crashed to the wall and abondened. Ahmet ATAY, Burak TEGÜL and Mehmet ZEYTİNOĞLU spinned and went to the back places at the first lap. Ahmet ATAY made an attack and passed Oğuz KARAOĞLU and Volkan ÖZDEMİR. Volkan ÖZDEMİR has taken the leadership from the hands of Ahmet ATAY at the twelfth lap. At the fourteenth lap Ahmet ATAY took the leadership again and had his championship with a victory. With the sponsorship of Yön Teknik, Volkan ÖZDEMİR took the second place. Oğuz KARAOĞLU who races with the sponsorship of New Technology took the third place. At the second lap Erkut KIZILIRMAK spinned and went off the track. Kenan DOĞULU retired because of a mechanical problem at the eighth lap. Itallien guest pilot Gaetano TRODELLA finished the race at the eighth place.
General Director of Renault Mais İbrahim AYBAR, Communications Director Oliver FAUST, and Accountancy Director Kaan DÜNDAR gave the prizes to their owners after 16 laps of a competitive race.
